EMDR
Welcome to Southern NH EMDR & Counseling Services. EMDR therapy is a powerful and effective therapeutic approach that requires specialized training after graduate school. EMDR is used to treat the psychological effects of adverse life experiences that manifest as anxiety, depression, PTSD, low self-esteem, relationship issues, phobias, emotional dysregulation, chronic stress, and more. EMDR often works quickly, effectively, and permanently. Not only does healing occur much more rapidly than in traditional therapy, but as a result of EMDR’s clearing of emotional and physical blockages, many people also experience a sense of joy, openness, and ability to form deep connections with others. EMDR has been very helpful in regulating clients’ emotions and helping them identify their inherent strengths and internal resources.
